The post is a 10 PA basic per week plus additional programmed activities by separate negotiation. The appointees will be part of a team of 11 Consultant General Surgeons and other surgical colleagues, providing comprehensive general surgical services to Lincoln and associated hospitals (population 210,000).
The role involves working flexibly to provide a sub-specialty service in General Surgery, supporting theatre lists, clinics, and endoscopy sessions, and participating in emergency duties on a 1:8 weekly rota.
Responsibilities include teaching, audits, research, and departmental management.
