About the role:

At Lincolnshire Co-op, we own a diverse property portfolio and are known for delivering exceptional services to our tenants alongside collaborating with our business partners to strengthen local services for our communities across Lincolnshire. With a strong commitment to professionalism, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, we are now seeking a Regional Property Manager to join our in-house property team which will sit as part of the Society\’s wider Leadership Team.

As a Regional Property Manager, you will be responsible for the successful management and performance of a portfolio of properties within your assigned region. Your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Liaising with internal teams (legal, property management and finance) in relation to lease renewals, lease expires, property surveys, rent reviews, dilapidation etc.
  • Maintaining an asset management plan for each site/property in the portfolio.
  • Ensuring management of the property portfolio in a consistent and co-ordinated way, having a thorough understanding of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, regulatory compliance, and Service Charge Code.
  • Showing an understanding of how the property management system works providing reports to internal stakeholders i.e. total rental income, lease life cycle events.

About You

It is expected that the role of Regional Property Manager should be undertaken by an experienced RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor with:

  • An appreciation of the purpose and approach of Lincolnshire Co-op Ltd.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • A sound understanding of Landlord and Tenant Law.
  • A good working knowledge of Health & Safety in relation to property.
  • Experience of commercial property management.
  • An appreciation of rating law.
  • Experience of establishing and administering commercial property service charges and of residential property management would be an advantage.
  • A full driving licence.
