Construction & Property Business Engagement Advisor

MAIN JOB PURPOSE

This role will be the primary point of contact for members of the Lincolnshire & Rutland Chambers interested in Construction & Property. The role holder will be responsible for proactively supporting this sector, coordinating topical roundtables and delivering the services within the membership package (including advice, guidance and signposting). The role will be an integral part of the membership team and will necessitate working closely with the Business Development Executives to recruit members to this initiative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary internal lead for Chamber Construction and Property members, including developing and promoting the Chamber’s own membership offering.
  • Support onboarding of new Construction & Property members by understanding objectives and aligning them with Chamber services.
  • Organise and facilitate Construction & Property roundtables and networking events to drive engagement. Taking full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of Construction & Property events, including setting agendas, managing logistics, coordinating invites and attendee lists, and ensuring timely follow-up to maximise engagement and retention outcomes.
  • Create and support Construction & Property focused content and campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Maintain up-to-date sector intelligence to inform member support, roundtable content, and wider Chamber strategy.
  • Increase new membership acquisition.
  • Carry out prospecting activity to build a pipeline of warm leads.
  • Review and utilise lead lists for both warm and cold prospects.
  • Identify organisations that fit the target member profile.
  • Engage prospective members through a range of communication channels.
  • Design and lead outreach recruitment initiatives, utilising telephone, email, and LinkedIn communications to engage and convert prospects.
  • Deliver proactive retention activity, maintaining regular contact, flagging at-risk members, and strengthening long-term satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, exceeding expectations through advice, guidance, signposting, and collaborative opportunities.
  • Support lead generation and proactive recruitment of Construction & Property businesses, meeting agreed team KPIs.
  • Actively promote and match members to additional Chamber services, products, and partner opportunities to add value and drive revenue.
  • Work with accounts team to monitor memberships, ensuring retention and renewal processes are supported.
  • Represent the Chamber brand externally and internally, acting as a visible advocate for Construction & Property across events, partnerships, and communications.
  • Ensure accurate use of the CRM to log activity, track campaigns, monitor membership data, and produce reports for management and board.

  • A full driver’s licence with business insurance (Access to a car considered essential as visits to members and events around the county are required)
