Enhanced Access Receptionist
Closing date: 28 May 2026. This role is a zero‑hour contract with evening and weekend shifts; the number of shifts is determined by the rota system.
Main duties of the job
- Provide reception support within the Enhanced Access Service during evenings and weekends.
- Open and close the site each shift.
- Support clinicians by chaperoning during appointments when required.
- Use the booking system confidentially and correctly.
- Greet patients and register them on the system.
- Complete reception tasks in a timely manner.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the Operations Manager if restocking is required.
- Perform any other receptionist tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Ensure all equipment is taken out before the shift starts and put away at the end, including prescriptions following correct procedure.
- Handle patient queries.
- Assist clinicians with IT issues when they arise.
- Complete medical referrals.
- Participate in on‑call duties during your shift.

Work as part of a team to deliver a high‑quality, efficient administrative support service for the Enhanced Access contracts at facilities including Louth Hospital, Skegness Hospital, Alford War Memorial Hall, Marisco Practice Mablethorpe and others.

- Calm and resilient, able to handle emergencies.
