This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team known for its pragmatic, commercially focused advice and long-standing client relationships, particularly across the retail and technology sectors. The role involves working closely with developers, contractors, and large corporate clients on repeat instructions, building trusted, day-to-day relationships and becoming a key point of contact both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities include:- Drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction documentation, including building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and related agreements
- Advising on procurement strategy, project structuring, and risk allocation
- Providing specialist construction input on cross-disciplinary matters, particularly real estate, banking, and corporate transactions
- Supporting and supervising junior lawyers and trainees, with a focus on development and knowledge sharing
- Contributing to client relationship management and broader business development initiatives
- A minimum of 4 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law
- Strong technical expertise in drafting and negotiating both standard form and bespoke construction documents
- A collaborative approach, with an interest in mentoring and team development
