Due to significant and continued growth they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Banking & Finance Solicitor to join their Real Estate Finance team in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior banking & finance lawyer to join a successful and expanding team, working on a broad range of high-quality real estate finance matters for an impressive client base.
The opportunity

Advise a broad range of lenders, investors, funds, financial institutions and corporate clients across a variety of financing transactions.

Work on a wide range of Real Estate Finance matters, acting for both lenders and borrowers.

Take responsibility for transactions from initial instruction through to completion, with the opportunity to play a significant role in the delivery of complex matters.

Work closely with colleagues across the wider Real Estate and Corporate teams on matters involving funding, structuring and wider transactional considerations.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, taking an active role in client development and business development initiatives.

Contribute to the continued growth and profile of the wider Banking & Finance practice.

Support and develop more junior members of the team, sharing knowledge and experience and helping to foster a collaborative team environment.
About you
-
8+years’ PQE with a strong background in Banking & Finance and, ideally, significant experience in Real Estate Finance.

Experience gained within a recognised Banking & Finance practice, with the ability to demonstrate strong technical and commercial knowledge.

Experience acting for either lenders or borrowers, ideally with exposure to both sides of transactions.

The ability to take ownership of transactions and manage matters with a high degree of autonomy.

Supervisory and mentoring capabilities, with a genuine interest in developing junior team members.

A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development.
