Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Associate (4 years' + PQE) to join the firm's Property Litigation team in Leeds. This role offers flexible hybrid working, alongside an attractive and competitive remuneration and benefits package.
Working closely with highly regarded Partners within a top Legal 500 ranked firm, you will advise a broad range of public and private sector clients on the full range of contentious property advice and litigation. The role includes:
- Acting on disputes in the County Court, High Court and specialist tribunals, including First-tier and Upper Tribunal matters
- Advising on a full spectrum of contentious landlord and tenant issues
- Providing strategic, commercially focussed advice outside of formal litigation proceedings
- Handling residential and commercial forfeiture, rent reviews, service charge disputes and leasehold management issues
- Advising on Building Safety Act and related regulatory issues
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate
- Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team
About you:
- 4 years’ + PQE with strong litigation experience
- Comfortable running your own caseload with appropriate senior support
- Technically strong with sound procedural knowledge
- Interested in mentoring or supervising junior colleagues
- Commercially aware and keen to contribute to team growth
