The role
- Advise on a diverse range of commercial property matters for SMEs, founder‑led businesses and high‑growth companies across a range of sectors.
- Advise landlords, tenants and business occupiers on a wide range of leasehold matters, including the negotiation of new leases, renewals, licences, assignments and related property agreements.
- Act on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property assets, managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
- Support corporate transactions by advising on the real estate aspects of acquisitions, disposals, investments and group restructurings.
- Provide practical and commercially focused advice on day‑to‑day property management issues, including lease interpretation, service charge disputes, dilapidations and occupational matters.
- Take ownership of transactions, coordinating with clients, agents, lenders and other professional advisers to ensure matters progress efficiently and smoothly.
- Develop strong client relationships and become a trusted adviser to businesses as they grow and evolve.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate, Commercial, Employment, Intellectual Property and Data Protection teams to deliver seamless, joined‑up advice.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and help raise the firm's profile through networking, client events, marketing activity and relationship‑building opportunities.
About you
- 5+ years’ PQE with strong commercial property experience.
- Comfortable managing your own caseload and client relationships with an appropriate degree of autonomy.
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving and client service.
