This opportunity offers the chance to join a high-performing commercial team within a firm known for its pragmatic, business-focused advice and long-standing client relationships, particularly across the Retail and Technology sectors. The role involves working with a broad client base, from fast-growing SMEs to established national and international brands, advising on a wide range of commercial matters. The work spans general commercial contracts, technology, IP and data/privacy, providing excellent exposure and development early in your career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting on the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of a range of commercial agreements (including supply, purchase and distribution contracts, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts, and technology agreements)
- Assisting with client advice on day-to-day commercial issues and wider projects
- Gradually taking on more responsibility for your own matters as your experience develops
- Working closely with senior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative team environment
About you:
- 1 year’s PQE within commercial law
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to develop drafting skills
- An interest in technology, IP or data/privacy work
- A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from more senior colleagues
- Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude to client service
