The opportunity:

  • Work closely with public sector clients on a broad mix of public law and commercial matters, particularly around governance, decision‑making, and statutory powers.
  • Support on complex and high‑value procurement exercises, particularly in relation to development, regeneration, and concession‑based projects.
  • Draft and negotiate key procurement documentation, ensuring compliance while taking a pragmatic, solutions‑led approach.
  • Provide guidance on procurement risk, including direct awards, contract modifications, and navigating regulatory frameworks.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver commercially focused outcomes within a public law environment.
  • Support, mentor, and train junior lawyers, and contribute to internal and external learning initiatives.
