Great Ponton Church of England School is a small, friendly primary school set in a beautiful rural location, with just 56 pupils. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will provide essential administrative support across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing reception duties
- Handling telephone and email enquiries
- Maintaining accurate records
- Supporting school events
- Processing data using school systems (such as SIMS or similar)
- Assisting with staff administration
- Ensuring the secure handling of financial transactions
You will also play an important role in liaising with parents, staff and external agencies, contributing to the welcoming and professional ethos of our school.
The successful candidate will be well organised, IT literate, able to manage competing priorities, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. Previous administrative experience is essential, and experience within a school setting would be advantageous.
