The predicted salary is between 10259 - 10259 £ per year.

Required to start in September 2026, subject to all necessary checks. 16 ¼ hours per week (3 ¼ hours per day 3pm-6.15pm) Grade 4 SCP 9-12 £13.50 per hour - Actual Salary £10,259 for 39 weeks per year plus an additional 2 weeks in summer holidays.

We are looking for a committed team member to join our happy and dedicated school family to provide caretaking duties at the end of the school day. It is the responsibility of the school caretaker/cleaner to maintain and secure the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean and functional environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The role includes:

  • All in school cleaning
  • Building maintenance
  • Supervision of external contractors

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • a high standard of hygiene
  • good organisational skills (e.g. ordering equipment and products)
  • a knowledge of intruder alarms and heating systems
  • a good knowledge of health and safety matters
  • an understanding of safe working methods in accordance with COSHH assessments
  • the ability to work successfully in a team with other staff
