Lincoln Christ's Hospital School, located near Lincoln's beautiful cathedral, is truly comprehensive, with over 1,300 students on roll, including Sixth Form. In our latest OFSTED visit in November 2024, we have been graded ‘Good’ in all areas.
Teacher of Geography (maternity cover) MPS/UPS Start date: Negotiable, preferably after October half term
We wish to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography (maternity cover). The candidate will teach across Key Stage 3 and 4. The start date is negotiable, preferably after October half term, is full time and a maternity cover.
We warmly welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers. The right candidate will be passionate about Geography, have high expectations of students and of themselves, and wish to motivate students of all abilities.
As a school, we are passionate about enthusing students and engaging learners, fostering a genuine thirst for learning through inspirational teaching. We set high standards for teaching and learning, and believe that high-quality feedback on their progress is vital. We have large numbers of students who take Geography A-Level in the Sixth Form. The Geography department is a thriving and enthusiastic team which is collaborative and supportive. All members of the teaching team take on the additional role of a form tutor.

Fluency Duty In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
