We are seeking to appoint TWO HLTA's to work across our federation.
Positions: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA); across both schools
Hours: Full time – 5 days a week. Part time - 1 day a week. Fixed term – but with the potential to offer flexibility to continue beyond the initial period for the right candidate.
Pay Range: G6
Both schools were judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2024 and the governors and Headteacher are looking for a HLTA to help us on our journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
- Provide support and guidance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to students' holistic development and well-being.
- Hold a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be patient, adaptable, and an effective team player.
- Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Cover all classes across the school and be allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time to support the school's educational objectives.
