We have 2 Teaching Assistant vacancies. Fixed term appointment for 1 year to 31 August 2027. 30 hours per week – Monday to Friday. 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days). Salary: Grade 3 SCP 6‑9. Actual starting salary: £19,631.
We are looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic and innovative; who can foster excellent working relationships with children and adults; who understands how to support children with specific needs; who can support a child’s learning, behaviour, social inclusion and social and emotional development; who is a good team player and able to work well as part of a supportive staff; who has experience of working in a school environment or other educational setting.
The successful candidate will:
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent).
- Show initiative and be proactive.
- Be passionate about improving outcomes and supporting children to overcome barriers to learning and fulfil their potential.
