About the Role

The Family Time Service in Lincolnshire currently has a part time position (24hrs) based at Grantham Family Centre. The post is working Monday to Friday afternoons, working until 6.30pm to cover the after school need. Some weekend working may be required on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise family time sessions between children and their parents/family where children are subject to court proceedings and no longer in the care of their parents.
  • Demonstrate clear awareness of safeguarding children.
  • Record and provide accurate reports after each session, requiring good recording and IT skills.
  • Work in partnership with parents and other professionals to promote and model good quality family time.
  • Promote the best interests of the child.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or related equivalent.
  • Good understanding of child development, attachment, separation and risk management is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills.
  • Current, clean driving licence and use of a car required for working across various locations.
