This is a part time permanent position working 20 hours per week 8.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the school office, completing tasks accurately to required deadlines.

Duties include [but not limited to]:
  • Input of data to required IT systems, including ensuring registers are completed and all absences accounted for [including staff absence data]
  • Use of parental communication app to communicate with parents and staff and software for electronic payments
  • Updating social media
  • Carry out reception and messenger duties
  • Receive incoming goods and check against orders as required. Deal with incoming/outgoing mail.
  • To assist in the arrangement of routine school activities such as school photographs and induction/parents evenings.
  • To assist in the compilation of reports and records of assessment of data
  • Ensure security protocols are communicated to and understood by all visitors to the school. Ensure SCR information is accurate and up to date
  • Assist with First Aid as required
Essential Criteria:
  • English and Maths GCSE, Grade C/4 or equivalent
  • Excellent IT skills

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
