The Head Athletic Trainer will develop and implement the total medical care of student-athletes as specified by the South Atlantic Conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association and other governing bodies. The Head Athletic Trainer will monitor athletic training students in a clinical setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Athletic Training or related area;
  • Meet SACSCOC teaching requirements;
  • NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer for a minimum of 1 year;
  • Tennessee State Licensed Athletic Trainer (or eligible);
  • Demonstrated teaching success in an Athletic Training Curriculum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • First Aid & CPR Instructor Certification.
