Responsibilities
- Lead coordination of support for students who have experienced sexual and/or domestic abuse, including assessment and response to risk in crisis situations.
- Work with students navigating the complex transitions associated with higher education, considering independence, vulnerability and changing support networks.
- Provide support to students with a range of disabilities, adopting a flexible and responsive approach.
- Build trust and communicate effectively with students in sensitive situations.
- Make timely, well‑informed decisions to support student safety and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and manage complex and sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Significant experience supporting individuals affected by sexual and/or domestic abuse.
- Experience working with students, particularly in higher education settings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust.
- Capacity to make timely, well‑informed decisions and manage sensitive information.
