At the University of Lincoln, we believe that every interaction matters. Think Tank is at the heart of our business community, providing welcoming spaces, expert support and essential services that help growing businesses to thrive.
We are looking for a customer focused and proactive Centre Operations Administrator to join our Venture Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating a safe, professional and supportive environment for tenants, visitors, students and staff. Whether you are welcoming a visitor at reception, supporting a tenant with their onboarding, supporting events management, or keeping the centres running smoothly behind the scenes, your contribution will have a direct impact on the experience of everyone who uses our buildings.
What you will be doing:
As a Centre Operations Administrator, you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, students and staff.
- Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, running reception, the switchboard, mail and parcels, and meeting room bookings.
- Open and close the centres as an authorised key holder, and support health and safety through routine building checks.
- Help create a welcoming, professional environment where tenants can build positive relationships and grow their businesses with confidence.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for people who are passionate about providing an excellent customer experience, enjoy helping people and take pride in delivering a high-quality service. You will have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, experience of delivering high-level customer service to internal and external customers, good administrative and communication skills, and the ability to work unsupervised while remaining organised, accurate and adaptable. Experience of a fast-paced reception role, working with commercial clients, or using Microsoft Office and social media would be an advantage, as would a willingness to work occasional flexible hours such as breakfast or evening events.
