About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join our People Services team on a 9 month fixed term or secondment basis. Reporting to the People Manager (Employee Relations & Operations), you will play a key role in delivering a proactive, high-quality people service across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People professional to broaden their experience, support impactful initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high‑performing workplace culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide expert advice and support on a wide range of people matters, including employee relations, absence management, disciplinary and grievance.
- Support complex employee relations casework with confidence and professionalism.
- Support and deliver key initiatives within the People Plan, including wellbeing, EDI and leadership development.
- Champion a culture of wellbeing and inclusion.
- Ensure consistent application of People policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Work collaboratively across teams to continuously improve people practices and outcomes.
About You
- Has experience in a generalist People role, including complex employee relations casework.
- Has strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
- Is confident influencing and advising managers at all levels.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation and decision‑making skills.
- Ideally holds (or is working towards) a CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- Is passionate about wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion.
Experience within education or the public sector is desirable but not essential.
