We are excited to seek a dedicated Lecturer for Electrical and Mechanical Apprenticeships! In this role, you will prepare, deliver, and assess apprenticeship units in Electrical and Mechanical fitting and assembly (including Mechatronics), EV Charging Point Installation, Solar PV Installation, and Maintenance, ensuring excellent learner outcomes and experiences.

You will plan diverse programs, support curriculum development, and engage with employers while contributing to the wider college community. Additionally, you will facilitate mock AM2 assessments, guiding apprentices to excel. Join us in delivering innovative and inspiring curriculum, equipping learners for their future!

  • Holiday entitlement of up to 55 days (including bank holidays and closure days)
  • The ability to achieve a LAT Excellence Pay increment, currently £42,509 per annum (subject to eligibility criteria)
  • Relaxed dress code on Fridays and non-term time
  • A Golden Hello payment of £2,000 upon appointment and a one-off payment of £2,000 upon successful completion of probationary period.

This role may also be eligible for the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) programme which supports us to provide early career support to those with relevant knowledge and industry experience to retrain as FE teachers.
