Salary and Hours

£12.21 per hour

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, proactive individual to become part of our Kitchen team.

As the only not-for-profit restaurant in the region, we are owned and operated by Lincoln College, providing technical qualifications and training for thousands of school leavers and adults each year.

With no private owner or shareholders, all profits are reinvested into our colleges in Lincoln and Newark, enhancing education and training opportunities.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Old Bakery Kitchen team, carrying out the duties of a Porter such as maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen environment.

Tasks such as washing dishes, cleaning equipment, basic food preparation, waste management and assisting chefs/cooks as and where required will be part of this role.

Previous experience of working in a Kitchen is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a high level of cleanliness within the restaurant.

Working hours will be flexible depending on need, hours of work will potentially be during Thursday to Sunday evenings between 5pm and 10pm.
