Salary and Hours
£12.21 per hour
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, proactive people to become part of our Kitchen team.
As the only not-for-profit restaurant in the region, we are owned and operated by Lincoln College, providing technical qualifications and training for thousands of school leavers and adults each year.
With no private owner or shareholders, all profits are reinvested into our colleges in Lincoln and Newark, enhancing education and training opportunities.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Old Bakery Kitchen team supporting the chefs by preparing food items, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen and managing supplies.
They will be involved with the preparation of food for lunch and dinner services on Saturday and Sunday mornings as and where required.
Previous experience as a Commis Chef is preferred but not essential.
The successful candidate will adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a high level of cleanliness within the restaurant.
Working hours will flexible to suit the requirements of the role, generally within the range of 10-16 hours per week.
