The Air & Space Institute (ASI) is a £15.4 million, purpose-built campus, part of the Lincoln College Group, dedicated to aviation, defence, and space technology education. Opened in 2024, ASI blends academic learning with industry experience, making it one of the UK’s most innovative technical education hubs.

The ASI is seeking a visionary senior leader who will drive strategic growth in a curriculum at the forefront of industry needs in defence, aviation and space. As a key member of the Groups’ Senior Leadership Team, this role requires the successful appointee to continue to build student numbers in 16-18s, adults and apprenticeships whilst supporting full cost commercial training.
Vision 2030, our 5-year strategy, names defence, aviation and space as our key sector for development with a goal to establish the Group as a national specialist in skills provision. Furthermore, by working closely with our Academy of Defence Industry College in Riyadh, the Group will be known internationally for the quality of our work in these fields. This role will be pivotal in establishing this reputation.
