Lincoln City Football Club is opening a brand-new coffee shop at the LNER Stadium this June, with training beginning at the end of May. We’re looking for enthusiastic leaders with a genuine passion for great coffee and outstanding customer experiences. We have full or part time roles available. This isn’t just about coffee—it’s about creating a hub at the heart of the stadium community. We need someone with a positive, energetic personality who thrives on delivering exceptional service and building connections with customers. No two days are the same. From busy matchdays and stadium events to evenings on the 3G pitches and community projects, you’ll need to be adaptable, proactive, and ready to think on your feet. One thing remains constant: delivering great coffee every time.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in the day-to-day running of the coffee shop
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
  • Lead, support, and motivate the team, identifying training needs and assisting in staff development
  • Deliver high-quality coffee and food offerings in line with company recipes and presentation standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a genuine “customer first” approach

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and inspire staff
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, food safety standards, and kitchen operations
  • Experience in food service roles such as serving or barista work is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Leadership qualities combined with a friendly approach to customer service
  • Familiarity with restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of culinary practices related to coffee shop offerings and food presentation
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene at all times
