Salary: £67,898.00 - £78,702.00 per annum

About Us

The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust formed by the Diocese of Lincoln in 2013. We are a growing and thriving family of schools dedicated to providing an excellent education for pupils across Lincolnshire. We have grown to serve twenty-four academies across three local authorities of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and North-East Lincolnshire.

Trust Headteacher – The Role

Since 2022, the Trust Headteacher role has been central to our strategy for delivering strong leadership and driving school improvement across LAAT. We are now seeking an exceptional Trust Headteacher to support St Wulfram's for up to an initial two-year period whilst a substantive Headteacher is secured for the school. With significant investment in the school's environment and exciting development underway—including the creation of two new SEND Hubs—we need an inspirational leader who can raise standards, grow pupil numbers, and lead the school confidently into its next chapter, supported by a secure central Trust contract.

Trust Headteacher – Responsibilities

  • Lead and embed the Trust vision by shaping a clear strategic direction, aligning school improvement priorities, and fostering a shared culture of high expectations and collaboration.
  • Drive excellence in teaching, learning and outcomes by developing a broad, engaging curriculum, using data to monitor progress, setting ambitious targets, and tackling underperformance.
  • Develop and lead high-performing staff teams through effective delegation, professional development, performance management, and modelling strong leadership behaviours.
  • Ensure effective organisational and financial management by overseeing school structures, budgets, resources, health and safety, and strategic planning.
  • Safeguard and strengthen the school community by acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Trust Headteacher – You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with completed induction, safeguarding training, Enhanced DBS, and ongoing professional development.
  • Significant senior leadership experience with a strong record of school improvement and partnership working.
  • Ability to develop and implement a clear, inspiring vision aligned with Church of England values.
  • Expertise in curriculum, standards, performance data, and self-evaluation to drive improvement.
  • Experience in financial, resource, and personnel management, with knowledge of relevant education law.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, strong communication, resilience, and building positive school and community relationships.
