We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR and Recruitment Administrator to join our expanding central team at LAAT, a dynamic and forward-thinking Multi-Academy Trust.

18 months ago, we embarked on the exciting journey of bringing HR and recruitment for all 23 Trust school and the central team in house and this is a brand-new role, created in response to our growth, as we have welcomed new schools into our Trust and are launching an exciting initiative with SEND Hubs in some schools

You’ll play a key part in supporting our HR and recruitment functions, helping us attract, onboard, and retain the very best talent for our schools.

What You’ll Do:
Support the Coordination of recruitment campaigns from advert to appointment
Support onboarding and compliance processes for new staff
Maintain accurate HR records and systems
Contribute to the development of efficient HR processes

What We’re Looking For:
Experience in administration (school setting desirable but not essential)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A team player with a can-do attitude
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is a plus

Core Purpose

To provide high-quality administrative support to the HR and recruitment functions of the Trust, ensuring efficient and effective processes that support safer recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing employment of colleagues across all schools within the Trust.
To provide front of house reception duties when needed to cover Trust Administrator.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure that all HR records are held securely and accurately in line with Trust and legislative requirements.
Assist the CS Assistants with HR administration and ensure new starter and leaver records are maintained accurately.
Prepare correspondence and arrange meetings as required, to include note taking.
Data input as required to support CS team with monitoring and tracking statistics and KPIS.
Handle employee queries, written or verbal with the utmost confidentiality.
Keep up to date on current issues and matters related to the colleague services department.
Support in distributing central communication to all colleagues.
Support the administration of HR policies and ensuring that records are kept up to date and in line with filing systems.
Assist in organising and supporting training sessions and colleagues’ continuous professional development programs.
Provide general administrative support to the Colleague Services team.
Supporting in welcoming visitors to the Trust offices and setting meetings up as required.
