We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy team working on the night shift, working 40 hours per week, from Monday to Thursday on 10-hour shifts. Key Areas of Responsibility * Working as part of the Finished Goods team, you will be responsible for: * Taking delivery of goods, stock and supplies. * Storing of goods. * Preparation of stock for dispatch. * Loading of stock by hand or forklift. * Keeping records of stock. * Assisting with stock taking. * Keeping the Warehouse and work area clean and tidy. * Loading and unloading of goods from the vehicle. * Develop and maintain good working relationships with other internal departments to achieve accurate and timely delivery of products. * Work as a full team member by carrying out any other duties which may reasonably be requested of the role when required. * Undertake all duties in such a manner as to comply with Health & Safety and security procedures and guidelines. Experience, Skills and Knowledge * Good general level of education. * Prior experience of working as a Warehouse Operative or stores/distribution function. * Certification to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery is essential. * Ability to work as part of a team. * Time management skills and the ability to assess and manage priorities. * Ability to work calmly under pressure. * Diligent attention to detail. * Good numeracy skills. * Flexible and adaptable. * Understanding of Warehouse processes. * Understanding of Health and Safety and security procedures. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel
