Join our team to apply for the Pulmo Rehab Specialist role at Lincare. The pulmonary health and rehabilitation program seeks respiratory care practitioners (full-time, part-time, or consultant basis) responsible for implementing respiratory regimens and supporting pulmonary participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute as a member of a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment strategies for positive patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient findings, concerns, and program improvements.
- Strive for proficiency in clinical competencies.
- Identify psychosocial adaptations to illness and psychopathology, demonstrating interpersonal and observational skills.
- Assess modifiable risk factors and support patients in therapeutic lifestyle changes.
- Utilize health behaviour change theories to help participants set learning and lifestyle goals.
- Participate in educational efforts, classes, and individual sessions.

- Participate in emergency procedures and drills, including ACLS measures when necessary.
- Collect and analyze patient and program outcomes.
- Stay current in pulmonary rehabilitation through ongoing education and conferences.
- Attend staff meetings regularly.
