ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Fire & Security projects, from inception to completion. This role involves conducting inspections, preparing reports, and collaborating with project teams to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Review and interpret fire and security plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Identify and document any defects or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and quality assessments.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues.
  • Monitor and track the progress of quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management.
  • Experience of managing and providing expert guidance to a team of fire and security engineers.
  • Proven track record of producing high quality quotations with minimal assistance.

Qualifications:

  • Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality surveying or a related role within fire and security.
  • Strong knowledge of fire and security methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
