Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The purpose of the Electrical Engineer is to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance for building engineering systems and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain low voltage (LV) electrical systems and perform PPM routines.
- Repair and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures.
- Perform EICR Testing.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.
- Liaise with helpdesk for task responses.
- Maintain site logbooks, compliance certification, and produce reports.
- Participate in emergency call-out services.
- Emergency Lighting Testing and Light Fitting Replacement, including Safe Isolation.
Essential Qualifications.
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- City and Guilds Level 3 certificate in the requirements for electrical installations BS 7671 (18th Edition)
- City & Guilds 2391 inspection & testing.
- Drivers License (No more than 6 points)
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
- Ipaf & Pasma (Desirable but not essential)
