Our client base continues to grow month on month and as a result we are now looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join us on our upward journey.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The purpose of the Electrical Engineer is to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance for building engineering systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain low voltage (LV) electrical systems and perform PPM routines.
  • Repair and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures.
  • Perform EICR Testing.
  • Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.
  • Liaise with helpdesk for task responses.
  • Maintain site logbooks, compliance certification, and produce reports.
  • Participate in emergency call-out services.
  • Emergency Lighting Testing and Light Fitting Replacement, including Safe Isolation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • City and Guilds Level 3 certificate in the requirements for electrical installations BS 7671 (18th Edition).
  • City & Guilds 2391 inspection & testing.
  • Drivers License (No more than 6 points).
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Ipaf & Pasma (Desirable but not essential).

Package & Benefits:

  • Competitive basic Salary £155 a week Stand by rate.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Company van with private usage option.
  • Fuel Card.
  • Travel time paid door to door.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Uniform & PPE.
  • Pension.
  • Working hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
  • Specialist tools provided. (Hand Tools to be provided by engineer).
  • Death In Service after 2 years Employed.
