This is a part‑time teaching position with West Dunbartonshire Council. The post is fixed term until 26/06/2026 and hours will be pro‑rated to the hours worked.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality teaching and learning that aligns with Council priorities of inclusion and raising aspirations, achievement and attainment for all students.
- Maintain membership with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme before a formal offer is made.
- Comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975 provisions and disclose any convictions that may otherwise be “spent.”
- Attend to the needs of St Michael’s Primary School.
Requirements
- Evidence of Catholic Church Approval (or pending approval) and a copy of the approval before the interview.
- For denominational primary posts, possess a Catholic Teaching Certificate or Catholic Religious Education Certificate.
- For denominational secondary posts, hold RC Approval for the school to be applied to.
- Completion of the Head Teacher Report (attached to the advert) by the Head Teacher and attachment to the application before the closing date.
- Proficiency in safeguarding and safeguarding procedures.
