Vacancies have arisen for two Clerical/Admin Assistants within the West Dunbartonshire HSCP Children & Families Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Take comprehensive minutes for children’s social work meetings, including Child Protection and Fostering & Adoption Panels.
  • Accurately capture discussion points in minutes for future reference.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous minute‑taking experience with strong typing speed.
  • Excellent keyboard, oral and written communication skills.
  • Inter‑personal skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in an admin role using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information politely and courteously.
  • Level 1 Disclosure check required prior to a formal offer.

Assessment Process:

  • Candidates invited for interview will complete a minute‑taking test based on a mock virtual Child Protection Planning meeting.
