The following opportunity has arisen to join our fabulous team and start as soon as possible: Head of the Residential Provision (Maternity Cover)
Salary: PS10 £47,318 pro‑rata (plus £45 pw sleeping-in allowance)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSETs), 42 hours per week - fixed term for one year
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Head of the Residential Provision for one year to cover a maternity leave. We can offer you an outstanding and innovative residential provision with a strong and dedicated team.
Requirements:
- An NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is essential
- A driving licence with 2 years driving experience
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the school promotes and safeguards the welfare of all students
- To lead the Residential Provision, and manage the Residential Provision staff team
- To lead and co‑coordinate the preparation for annual Residential Ofsted inspections
- To ensure students’ needs are met in line with their IHCPs and EHCPs
