Lipscomb Maidstone is recruiting for a Bodyshop & Smart Repair Consultant to join the team to provide a professional and friendly service to our customers. Headed up by our Aftersales Director, the best training and opportunities will be given. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career with our Bodyshop team.
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual with experience in a customer centric role. As a Bodyshop & Smart Repair Consultant for our Dealership & Bodyshop, you will provide a courteous, welcoming, and professional service as customer liaison both in person, via telephone and email. You will also be responsible for welcoming customers to the Dealership, ensuring all visitors consistently receive a professional and courteous welcome. You will deal with incoming customer & insurance enquiries and make customer bookings.
Responsibilities- Provide regular communication to customers and insurers, keeping them informed of repair progress, additional work required or vehicle completion, ensuring the database and records are kept up to date.
- Ensure all estimates / works are managed and administered in line with our processes.
- Upsell of bodywork, smart repairs and alloy wheel repairs to customers as appropriate.
- Process invoices and ensure payment is received in full before vehicles are released.
- Liaise with internal aftersales colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamworking.
- Help manage customer problems, complaints and difficult situations bringing them to a speedy, satisfactory conclusion for all concerned.
- You must have previous experience in a similar customer facing role.
- Motor trade or Bodyshop experience, knowledge of body repairs & estimating systems is desirable but not essential.
- You will have strong customer service skills, focus, organisational skills and strong desire to exceed customers expectations.
- You will need to have a full clean driving licence.
