Senior Backend Developer - Remote - £110k + Equity
Limitless has been exclusively engaged by one of the fastest-growing start-ups, building a first-of-its-kind enterprise security platform for the AI era.
The engineering and product team is now 28 strong and fully remote. They’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build and run the large-scale, high-performance systems behind the platform. You’ll have a real hand in how it scales, how reliable it is and how the engineering team works as it grows.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and maintaining scalable backend services in Python on AWS serverless infrastructure
- Shipping quickly without cutting corners, backed by solid testing and clear documentation
- Reviewing code and giving feedback that raises the bar for the whole team
- Working closely with engineers, designers and product to turn ideas into reliable features
What they’re looking for:
- Expert-level Python and a track record of building and scaling large production systems
- Hands-on AWS serverless experience and infrastructure as code (they use AWS CDK)
- Relational and NoSQL experience (PostgreSQL and DynamoDB)
- Someone self-directed who owns features end to end, from concept through to production
- A genuine focus on the user and how your work affects their experience
Fully remote: work from home or a co-working space anywhere in the UK
Interview process: Fully remote and transparent, with an intro call, a career projects session where you present two projects you’ve worked on, a panel interview, then the offer stage
