Overview:
To ensure the delivery of month-end results in line with the Shared Service Centre timetable. To support the Shared Service Centre activities through the collaborative management and reporting of all financial operational activities across the estate.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• To support the Development & Financial Reporting Manager to effectively deliver a smooth month end posting and reporting routine in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
• To assist in the continued roll out of Workday Adaptive Planning by developing and assisting in creating reports and analytical tools.
• Develop and improve the efficiency of the current finance processes through automation.
• Assist with queries from the Cluster Finance teams and Group Finance in a prompt and effective manner.
• Create and maintain a good working relationship with operational finance and shared services teams.
• Undertake monthly journal postings and as appropriate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, e.g.: pre payments, accruals.
• Assist with monthly consolidated reporting, forecasting and budgeting as required.
• To manage and resolve queries within the timeframe set by Development & Financial Reporting Manager.
• Ensure all finance processes and risk documentation is kept up to date.
• To undertake any ad-hoc finance tasks and projects as required by the business
• Effective use of systems to organise, report, investigate and resolve all activity where required.
• Be aware of the `business` of Leonardo as a hospitality provider.
• Effective communication across key stakeholders.
• Ensure you are responsible for your own Personal Development Plan.
• Flexibility: In order to meet the changing requirements, the duties of this post and the role of the post holder may change after consultation.
Knowledge Required:
• Prior experience in a high volume fast paced finance environment.
• Strong time management skills and experience working to deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
• Experience of PowerBi and SAP beneficial.
• Experience of Workday Adaptive Planning or similar FP&A Tool advantageous.
