Experience we expect:

  • General Manager, ideally with Meeting and Events background
  • Background in branded hotels is preferred – so you will understand how we work
  • Ability to lead and motivate your team providing day to day leadership and direction
  • Ability to drive sales and profitability forward
  • Excellent Customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
  • To be able to make decisions in a fast paced environment and to enjoy it
  • Commercially sound

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Meet or exceed department and hotel targets, monitoring a variety of hotel systems via a clustered support team.
  • To control and monitor all hotel operations through a team of managers and supervisors.
  • To ensure customer satisfaction by having managers establish and maintain quality control standards for products & services offered to the customers.
  • Ensure the control of costs and productivity through the establishment of standards of output for all aspects of the business.
  • To ensure that we outperform the market in our specific segment and that fair share is always exceeded.
  • To lead and develop an energetic workforce, having involvement in recruitment, learning and development, employee relations issues and team engagement initiatives.
