The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Event Technician who is keen to develop their technical knowledge and build a career within the live events and technical production industry. Working closely with our Senior Project Manager and wider production team, you will provide technical assistance and logistical support across a diverse range of live and experiential events. This is a hybrid role, combining work from home, our Milton Keynes office and onsite delivery across London and the UK. Flexibility is essential. Our projects range from smaller-scale installations and activations through to large-scale events involving lighting, sound, rigging and complex technical production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn, get hands-on experience and develop their skills within a busy, high-end events environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of production paperwork for company events.
  • Preparing, checking and organising tools and equipment required for event delivery.
  • Maintaining and organising company-owned technical equipment.
  • Loading, transporting and unloading equipment to and from event sites.
  • Assisting with event load-ins, installations and load-outs.
  • Supporting technicians, project managers and the wider production team onsite.
  • Helping to ensure equipment are prepared, delivered and returned safely and on schedule.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider Limited Edition team and being willing to get involved wherever required.

About You

You may be at the beginning of your career in the events industry, or looking to take the next step and develop your technical production skills. We are particularly interested in candidates with a genuine interest in live events, technical production, lighting and sound, and who are enthusiastic about learning new technologies and systems. You will ideally have:

  • A clean, full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a company-provided van.
  • A basic understanding of lighting and/or sound equipment and technologies.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for live events and technical production.
  • A willingness to learn, develop and broaden your technical knowledge.
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • The ability to work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
  • Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, curious and keen to learn.

What We Offer

You’ll be joining a small, tight-knit team supported by an exceptional network of experienced freelancers and industry professionals. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most creative and talented people in the events industry, gaining hands-on experience delivering high-profile events and productions seen by audiences around the world.
