We are an independent, boutique specialist financial services PR agency, based in London, working with some of the most interesting firms across investment management, fintech, private markets, banking and more. Small by design, we operate without the layers that slow bigger agencies down, which means everyone here does meaningful work from day one. We’re looking for an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join us. If you have one to three years of experience in corporate communications, within a financial services context, and a genuine curiosity about the financial sector, we will back you with the kind of development opportunities, support and benefits that most agencies reserve for much more senior hires.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing story angles and pitching financial and business journalists via email, phone and in person
  • Building and maintaining strong media relationships
  • Spotting opportunities in breaking news and market developments
  • Drafting press releases, commentary, articles and other client content
  • Supporting day‑to‑day client communications and media activity
  • Developing narratives around complex financial and fintech topics
  • Monitoring media coverage, industry developments and competitor activity
  • Developing a strong working knowledge of clients' businesses and sectors
  • Helping ensure the team delivers against KPIs and plans ahead each quarter
  • Attending client events and industry conferences

What we’re looking for:

  • One to three years of experience in financial or corporate communications, in‑house or at an agency
  • Genuine curiosity about financial services and the habit of staying informed
  • Confidence in client‑facing situations
  • Solid media relations experience and an understanding of what makes a good story
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for detail
  • Someone who is proactive, organised and happy to get involved in all aspects of a small agency
  • A positive, enthusiastic and collaborative team player

What we offer:

  • 30 days holiday, plus three days over Christmas and all bank holidays
  • Hybrid working, with up to two days remote per week
  • Enhanced, and equal, parental leave
  • Annual bonus
  • Extensive internal training
  • Private healthcare after one year
  • Access to an office gym and exercise classes
  • International opportunities and exchange opportunities through the Fincom Alliance
  • Regular team lunches and social events
