Limewood Care Home in Stafford provides specialist dementia care for up to 59 residents. This includes Residential, Nursing, and Respite care, supporting individuals from early diagnosis through to end of life.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Day Senior Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will lead the day care team, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care and that daily routines run smoothly.

What You Will Do
As Day Senior Support Worker, you will lead and support the care team throughout the day, ensuring residents receive consistent, high-quality care. You will provide guidance, delegate tasks effectively, and lead by example, fostering a warm, safe, and positive atmosphere. You will assist with personal care and mobility, administer medication safely, maintain accurate records, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies. You will also ensure residents feel supported and engaged during daily activities while maintaining clear and professional communication with staff, residents, and families.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential (experienced Support Workers working towards Level 3 will be considered)
- Medication training and competency in medication administration
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- A kind, caring, and compassionate personality with a person-centred approach
- The ability to stay calm, organised, and professional during busy daytime shifts
