We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering customers' assets to various locations. This role requires timely and accurate deliveries, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely.
- Maintain accurate records for deliveries and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with the Planning team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during operations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a must, showcasing an understanding of logistics operations.
- A valid CE driving licence is required, along with a clean driving record and up-to-date Driver CPC.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records.
