The role

A good night out starts with people who show up and bring their friends.

As our Local Community Ambassador, you’ll build that crowd in each city: the regulars, the hosts, the people everyone seems to know.

You’ve grown a community from a handful of people before, and you know most of it is showing up, again and again.

This is a full-time role. It’s global and fully remote, and it covers our four home markets: Taiwan, the US, the UK and Bangkok.

  • What you’ll do
  • Build and run Limere’s local communities in Taiwan, the US, the UK and Bangkok, from the first meetup to a crowd that comes back every week.
  • Plan and host events with venues and organisers: themed nights, mixers, launches, and the small touches that make walking in alone feel easy.
  • Find and look after a network of hosts, creators and regulars who bring people out and talk about Limere.
  • Start an ambassador program that rewards the people who bring the most friends.
  • Keep your community going between events, in group chats, posts, email and the app.
  • Bring what you hear back to the team, so it shapes what we build next.
  • Track turnout, repeat visits and word of mouth, test new ideas, and turn what works into a playbook for the next city.
  • Be there on the night, often. A lot of this job happens in the room.
  • What we look for
  • 6+ years building communities, running events or growing a local scene, for a consumer app, a brand or nightlife.
  • A portfolio of community work: groups you built, events you ran, programs you started, with who came and who came back.
  • You’ve grown something from a small start and kept it going after the launch buzz wore off.
  • You’re great with people: venue owners, organisers, creators, and the person who just walked in alone.
  • You plan well. Budgets, run sheets, last-minute changes. When a night goes sideways, you fix it on the spot.
  • You use numbers to decide what to try next, and you can say why.
  • You use AI tools to plan, write and keep up with a packed calendar.
  • No degree required. Your work matters more than where you studied.
  • Nice to have
  • You know the nightlife, social or events scene in Taiwan, a US or UK city, or Bangkok.
  • You’ve run an ambassador, creator or loyalty program.
  • You speak more than one language.
