Overview
You’ll be an SAP Change Manager with proven experience in delivering the change management function for major SAP transformation programmes – typically to large corporate customers. The SAP Change Manager will be responsible for ensuring that changes to organisations are effectively identified, planned, implemented, and controlled, while minimizing disruption to business processes. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, SAP applications, along with excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working with some of the best consultants around the globe in delivering SAP based transformation programmes to the highest standard. Thriving in a can-do environment, you’ll use your experience of running change management functions to ensure the smooth transition from a current way of working to a ‘new normal’. All in accordance with your plan.
Keeping the customer at the centre of delivery, you will start at the strategic level, plan the steps, identify the impacts, transition the organisation, and then embed long lasting change into organisations. The customer experience, and the interactions we have with key departments, is key to everything you do.
- Develop and implement change management strategies, policies, and procedures to support SAP-related business transformations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess the impact of SAP system changes on business processes and systems.
- Identify and analyzs the organizational and cultural implications of SAP-related changes.
- Develop change management plans and communication strategies to promote user adoption and engagement.
- Coordinate and facilitate change activities, including training, workshops, and user support, to ensure smooth transition and adoption of SAP solutions.
- Establish metrics and measurement criteria to evaluate the effectiveness and success of change initiatives.
- Monitor and manage resistance to change, addressing concerns and fostering a positive change environment.
- Provide guidance and support to business users, project teams, and management in navigating the change process.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP system configuration.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP and change management methodologies.
Experience you will have
- Proven experience as an SAP Business Change Manager or in a similar role, driving business change initiatives related to SAP systems.
- Strong knowledge of SAP applications, modules, and their impact on business processes.
- Experience in change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business impacts and devise effective change strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate) is desirable.
- Knowledge of ITIL change management processes and frameworks is a plus.
Qualifications you will have
- Relevant certifications in SAP Change Management or related areas are a plus.
- Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or IT service management (e.g., ITIL) are beneficial.
