We are looking for a senior specialist to work in the UK (right to work required). QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high quality risk insights to support better business decisions through curiosity and judgement.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, participating in business forums and building trusted relationships.
- Lead and coordinate core ERM activities: review and challenge RCSAs, support timely completion, address gaps, review issues and incidents, verify closure, validate data and compliance, provide input to risk reports and dashboards.
- Support implementation of the QBE ERM Framework and represent Risk in relevant forums.
- Communicate findings and recommendations with impact, role modelling QBE’s DNA and inclusive culture.
Requirements
- Strong experience in risk management, audit, or a related assurance environment.
- Experience within, or closely with, the general insurance industry.
- Deep understanding of Risk and Control Self Assessments, issue and incident management, and risk reporting.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, providing challenge and articulating messages.
- Strong analytical capability, turning data into meaningful insights.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
- Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate at pace with strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
