This is project-based work — not permanent employment — giving you the flexibility to contribute on your own schedule while working on meaningful, well-compensated tasks.
What You'll Be Doing
- You’ll help build and validate computational problem sets used to train and evaluate AI models:
- Designing original computational physics problems that simulate real physics research workflows
- Creating problems that require Python (or equivalent) to solve, using NumPy, SciPy, SymPy, and related libraries
- Ensuring problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes
- Developing problems requiring non-trivial reasoning chains in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics
- Basing problems on real research challenges or practical applications from physics practice
- Verifying solutions using Python with standard physics simulation libraries
- Documenting problem statements clearly with verified correct answers
Who We're Looking For
- Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related field
- Python proficiency for numerical validation — MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata, or other languages also considered
- 2+ years of professional, research, or teaching experience
- Experience with numerical simulation methods
- Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows
- Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas
- Familiarity with physics modelling and approximation techniques
- Strong written English (C1+)
How It Works
- Apply → Pass Qualification(s) → Join a Project → Complete Tasks → Get Paid
Once selected, you'll go through a straightforward onboarding process including platform registration, a short orientation, and ID verification — after which your first task will be ready to go.
Time & Payment
- Up to $55/hour* depending on location, expertise, and project
- Estimated ~10–20 hours/week during active project phases
- Fixed project rates or individual rates, depending on the project
- Some projects include incentive payments
Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project needs. Lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-core phases.
