Responsibilities

  • Review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) from Frontline Operations, Fraud and FinCrime teams, ensuring reports are robust, evidence‑led and tell the full story.
  • Conduct proportionate research to document what has occurred and assess high‑risk relationships, providing clear rationales for continuing or terminating them.

  • Work with AI tools and internal systems to make casework faster and smarter.
  • Collaborate with operational and risk teams to drive meaningful change and present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Final‑year university student, ideally from a top university, studying a related discipline (Financial Crime, Business, Criminology, Law, Psychology, Social Sciences, STEM or similar).
  • Intellectually curious, first‑principles thinker who questions the status quo.
  • High energy, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly when priorities shift.
  • Process improvement mindset, always looking for smarter ways to do things and capable of automating repeated tasks.
  • Potential over experience – we hire for mindset and grit.

Benefits

  • Flexible working – hybrid or fully remote with occasional in‑person events.
  • Health coverage, including private health cover.
  • Retirement savings plan.
  • Employee referral programme.
  • Office meals and snacks, fully stocked kitchen at selected locations.
  • Support for sustainable commuting (cycle‑to‑work, electric vehicle salary sacrifice).
