The role
As a Network Engineer, you’ll support MAG’s LAN, WAN and WiFi infrastructure in a fast-paced, ever-changing 24/7/365 environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our network systems to ensure seamless connectivity across our airports, while providing day-to-day support for critical services.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting existing network infrastructure, responding to and resolving faults (including liaising with external support where required), performing analysis and troubleshooting, and configuring and deploying network devices. You will also contribute significantly to network-related projects and ensure all work aligns with MAG’s change management procedures.
What will make you successful in the role?
You’ll be an experienced Network Engineer with solid hands-on experience in a similar role and strong technical competency across Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls. You should have a good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configuration, as well as experience with corporate WiFi solutions—ideally with Aruba, which would be a distinct advantage.
You’ll be familiar with network management tools such as Cisco DCNM and DNAC, and hold relevant Cisco certifications, with ITIL or change-procedure experience considered beneficial. The role also requires a willingness to work hybrid office hours and take part in on-call duties as part of the wider network support team.
